We’ve been living in our new house, in our new country, for over a year, which seems to suggest that we’re settled. Consequently I think it’s time to finish the UK2PA spin-off blog that was intended to document our transatlantic relocation. It’ll stay on-line for as long as I can support it, just in case it has anything to offer new immigrants.

So goodbye all, thanks for listening, and please accept this last piece of advice that I now know to be very, very, valuable: when you fill in your first W4, make sure you put a big fat zero on the front. Ignore the questions, and ignore advice from financial wizards. Just put zero for the first time. April is a bad time for nasty shocks.
