Also, and I may be wrong about this, wasn&#8217;t that the same truck Top Gear repeatedly tried and failed to destroy ? Even after being dropped off a building, into the sea, crushed, smashed and set on fire, it still started up [picture courtesy of Rakesh].<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p>Despite the fact that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fatsquirrel.org\/veghead\/pics\/2005-01-07+byedan\/\" target=\"_new\">last night was a brazen pissup<\/a>, I remained <i>relatively<\/i> sober. The pictures pretty much say everything that can be said.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p>Nice day today too. OK it was another day on the dreaded sofa with the evil ibook writing Java, but:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a cup of tea, a banana and a plate of cockles for breakfast<\/li>\n<li>watching a bit (enough) of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0071110\/?fr=c2l0ZT1kZnxteD0yMHxzZz0xfGxtPTIwMHx0dD1vbnxwbj0wfHE9YWlycG9ydCAxOTc1fGh0bWw9MXxubT1vbg__;fc=1;ft=1\" target=\"_new\">Airport 1975<\/a><\/li>\n<li>watching <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/find?q=brewsters%20millions;tt=on;nm=on;mx=20\" target=\"_new\">Brewsters Millions<\/a><\/li>\n<li>watching Jeeves and Wooster with Michele<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>made the day seem like a good one. The anti-TV middle-classes may sneer, but they don&#8217;t know what joys they are missing.
